Apostolic Nuncio helps serve warm food to East London homeless people
The Apostolic Nuncio Miguel Maury Buendía visited Providence Row’s kitchen and contributed to the lunch service on 18th November 2024.
On the occasion of World Poverty Day 2024 (17th November), the Apostolic Nuncio Miguel Maury Buendía visited East London homelessness charity Providence Row’s kitchen and contributed to the lunch service on Monday, November 18th.
Last year, the Providence Row kitchen served over 15,000 meals to 1,500 people affected by homelessness, as well as providing services including Advice & Support, Crisis Management, and Employability & Training.
Providence Row CEO Tom O’Connor said: ‘We are extremely appreciative of the contributions of the Apostolic Nuncio Miguel Maury Buendía to our Food Provision, and his dedication and care for our life-saving services.’
