12 non-fatal overdoses have occurred in Camden, London, on Monday 3rd March in the rough-sleeping population.
Providence Row can provide advice and support on substance use and how to stay safe.
Contamination of substances with synthetic opioids (Nitazenes) and the tragic deaths related to these are a constant danger for our client group. Substance contamination on the streets of our city is putting lives at risk every day - to combat this, we offer Nitazene testing strips, Naloxone distribution and training and our harm reduction room.
- Our Reset Teams have access to Nitazene, Fentynal and Xylazene testing strips and we strongly encourage all clients to test their drugs before use
- At our Dellow Centre clients can access services providing free Naloxone to protect lives from overdoses. We train staff, clients, community members and partners on how to effectively use Naloxone, equipping them with the skills to save their own and other people's lives
- Our needle exchange and harm reduction room is a hub for our clients' needs and welcomes anyone who is looking to keep themselves safe in a non-judgemental environment (Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, no appointment needed).
Our free Health and Wellbeing Fair is taking place on Thursday 6th March, 10am to 2pm, and people affected by homelessness in Tower Hamlets and the City of London can also visit the event to get advice and information and access health services on the day.
