Salary: £38,000 Pro Rata (21 Hours per week 3 days x 7 hours)

Providence Row works with more than a thousand homeless and vulnerably housed people a year in East London, offering an integrated service of crisis support, advice, recovery and learning and training programmes. Our aim is to ensure that people who are so often excluded from mainstream services gain the support and opportunities they need to create a safe, healthy and sustainable life. We support clients in addressing their mental health, substance use needs and general wellbeing by building a positive relationship with the person, not just focusing on their problems, but by exploring their potential. Providence Row works with people to improve their self-esteem and confidence, helping them rediscover their skills, get back into work and training and build stronger support networks.
Our unique, ‘one of a kind’ Outreach Psychotherapy Service works with people who are currently rough sleeping or experiencing difficulties maintaining accommodation due to complex trauma, current crisis or issues such as depression, substance use, anxiety and relationship issues.
The ideal candidate
You will be passionate about delivering psychotherapy, and have the drive and ambition to support some of London’s most vulnerable people. You will have experience of working with vulnerable adults and the creativity to deliver psychotherapy in flexible and non-traditional settings.
You need to have great communication skills ideally with experience of report writing and giving presentations. You must be computer proficient.
You will be joining an amazing, award winning team of individuals who work across the City of London, Hackney and Tower Hamlets, you will have a caseload of up to 15 clients who are rough sleeping or living in hostel accommodation settings. You will work with a range of partners to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
External clinical supervision is provided.
