165th Anniversary | Providence Row
165th Anniversary logo

Providence Row has been supporting people affected by homelessness in East London since 1860. To mark our 165th Anniversary, we will be running a series of fundraising events and various activities throughout the year and there will be many ways to get involved if you want to help us support people affected by homelessness.

For example you could:

  • Host a Fundraiser: organise bake sales, quiz nights, or sponsored challenges
  • Choose us as your Charity of the Year: support our work by nominating us as your community groups' Charity of the Year
  •  Join our events: participate in our anniversary-themed events and celebrations
  • Sign up for charity walks or runs: for example a sponsored walk, run, or cycle in support of Providence Row. You could take part in the Battersea Festival of Running and/or in the Hackney Half Marathon
  • Set community challenges: get creative with personal challenges like giving up a habit, doing a 165-mile challenge, or a community clean-up
  • Spread awareness: share our mission on social media using the anniversary hashtag, #165yearsofgiving, and engage with our campaigns
  • Volunteer: contribute time by supporting our services or helping at events
