The London Walk
Join team Providence Row. Walk the London Walk throughout the night of Saturday 19th March to show your support for people experiencing homelessness.
On the evening of Saturday 19th March 2022 at 9:30 pm we are taking part in the London Walk, organised by our friends the London Homeless Collective.
This walk brings charities working in homelessness in the city together to walk as one. Together aiming to raise £100,000 to fight against homelessness and support those currently experiencing it.
There will be two routes available; a 10K or marathon through Central London. Along the way, we’ll pass by the bases of London Homeless Collective partners including The Passage (in Victoria) and Connection at St Martin’s (in Trafalgar Square), where we can take 5 and have a break.
And – being a night walk – we need you to bring the colour, the passion and the FUN to the route. Wear bright colours, bring a flag, throw on a feather boa. We want YOU to show how vibrant and giving this city is, and raise lots of funds along the way.
Why walk for Providence Row?
Over 10,000 people slept on the streets of London last year. Since the start of the pandemic there has been a rise in homelessness, unemployment and poor mental health, it is vital that we are able to meet the needs of vulnerable people in our community and city with crisis care and long term support services.
By fundraising for Providence Row you are helping us to reach those who are most vulnerable to homelessness to get the support they deserve to live a life away from the streets, and to keep safe during the pandemic.

The London Walk fundraising challenge
There are 2 versions of the walk, the 10k challenge has a minimum fundraising target of £150 and the marathon walk a target of £350. Providence Row can help you to set up a Just Giving page to make it easy to fundraise and ensure that you hit your target!
