Every year our Women-only Arts and Craft group get together to produce a beautiful banner celebrating International Women's Day ( #IWD2019 ) . This year has a seascape theme, which is symbolic of how friendship and hope can guide people through difficult times.

We unveiled the banner in our centre today (Wednesday 6 March 2019) and have invited people from around the centre to post messages of friendship and hope underneath the banner.

Senior Worker Sarah also met with some members of the group to discuss the banner and why #InternationalWomensDay is so important in this podcast.
