37% of rough sleepers in London are from Central and Eastern European countries. In 2014, Providence Row and Thames Reach launched an #EU10Homelessness exchange project to build our understanding of EU10 homelessness and establish closer working with agencies in these countries, in order to do a better job of helping clients.
During the exchange, we learnt a lot, and have developed strong working relationships with key organisations in Bucharest, Romania. Now we're nearing the end of the project we're keen to share our learnings with the sector and encourage agencies to work together to help homeless people from European countries.
Romanian organisation Samusocial, who took part in the exchange shared some of their experiences with us in this video.
