Following on from his challenge in October where he raised over £1,500 by cycling 500km & the height of Mt Everest, in one month, cycling mainly off road down rough, muddy tracks. Kevin has taken to his bike again to raise more money for Providence Row.
For his most recent challenge, cycling the South Downs in one day, Kevin trained for 6 months. On the day, he set off at 4:30am and cycled the 100 miles, with the combined height of hill climbs of Ben Nevis, Mt Snowdon and Scafell Pike, all in one day!! It took him over 17 hours and he arrived in Eastbourne just in time to watch the England v Scotland match. He raised an incredible £1,700, bringing the total of his fundraising to over £3,200.
Kevin works for Natixis Investment Managers who are a long-standing corporate partner of Providence Row and was inspired to take to the saddle by our Homeless Action Week campaign in October 2020.
We are incredibly grateful to Kevin for his fundraising efforts and for making such a difference to the lives of people affected by homelessness. You can still support him on his Just Giving page.
